Local snowsqualls giving 15 cm of snow today.

Cold northwest winds are generating local snow squalls off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay this morning. Local snow amounts of 15 cm are possible before the squalls weaken this afternoon. In addition visibilities may suddenly drop to near zero in the squalls creating hazardous whiteout conditions. Motorists are advised to use extra caution.
