A transport truck took out some hydro lines in Oro-Medonte shortly after 10:30 a.m.,

knocking out power to nearly 3,000 Hydro One customers.

According to Hydro One, affected areas stretch from Line 9 South in Oro-Medonte, north to Bass Lake Sideroad West, and south to Barrie.

Repair crews are on the scene and hydro is expected to have power restored by 2:45 p.m.
