Michelle Vandal and Divine Diva win grand prix event 0

BLUE MOUNTAINS — Michelle Vandal rode Divine Diva to a first place-finish and $3,000 in the Jump Canada Cup series $10,000 Grand Prix on Sunday at the Cedar Run Classic equestrian weekend.
Christi McQuaker and Falco de Lizami were second and pocketed $2,250 while Roberto Teran and Von der Graaf were third and claimed $1,750.
Vandal and McQuaker both finished the first run of the course in under 79 seconds without any faults. They had a ride-off on a shortened- version of the course. Vandal had one fault on the ride-off but McQuaker had two and finished second.
Ryan Roy and Bayridge won the $5,000 Canadian Hunter Derby on Saturday. The duo earned $1,000 for the win. Erynn Ballard and Granted were second and pocketed $800. Peter Gisborn and Eminence were third.
Julie Watt and Jagger won the $2,500 child/adult hunter classic. Courtney Bacso and Time Square were second while Laura Biancolin and Silhouette were third.
Kaitlin Kelly and Corian Van Overis won the $2,500 open hunter classic while Carly Fairty and Waldo D’aubrac were second and Christi McQuaker and Socrates were third.
Ayla Barton and Numeron Due won the $2,00 1.4-m junior/amateur classic while Carly Morrison and Duvel were second and Alexya Solomon and Uvalier were third.
Stephanie Bell and Zantos won the 1.3-m junior/amateur classic while Michael Balaz and The Air Up There were second and Jennifer Carstairs and I Am What I Am were third.
Paige Mawson and Under Pressure won the 1.2-m junior/amateur classic while Lisa Balaz and Komanche De Fortenis were second and Cody Hennessey and Reaffirm were third.
Emma Medford and The General won the 1.1-m junior/amateur classic while Ariane St. John and Je T’Aime were second and Paul Hanney and Rainmaker were third.
Taylor Blackwell and Silver Lining took the $1,500 1.0-m junior/amateur classic while Mollo Miller and Horizon’s Wasabi M was second and Victoria Seip and Darrington were third.
Lacey Day and Mexico won the .9-m junior/amateur classic while Riley Kilmerchoi and Atlantis were second and Maggie Mainprize and Mad As A Hatter were third.
Stephanie Sharman and Game Boy won the .8-m junior/Amateur Classic while Devon Reaman and Quax were second and Rachel Howard and Bexhill were third.
Kristjan Good took two of the top three spots in the $1,500 Thoroughbred Hunter Classic on the weekend.
Good was first on Soul Seeker and third on Down Right Fancy.
Nicole Baker and Cherrybrook Skye Bluefinished second with Very Cherry.
Christine Carlsen was first in the $1,250 pony classic.
Hannah Brennen and Pomodoro were second while Mackenzie Da Costa and Napolean Dynamite were third.
