Accessibility champion hailed

Jack Merwin, left was honoured with the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) 10th anniversary champion award during Monday's council meeting. Mayor Sandra Cooper and Margaret Adolphe chair of Collingwood's Accessibility Advisory Committee were on hand to congratulate Merwin on his work in improving opportunities for persons with disabilities and to provide for their involvement in the identification, removal and prevention of barriers to their full participation in life.
