The Habitat for Humanity South Georgian Bay’s ReStore is a retail outlet that sells quality new and used building materials and renovation supplies. It is a great place to find many items that you might need to build or renovate a house, a shed, or cottage. In the store you will find appliances, flooring, windows, doors, bathtubs, sinks, counters, cupboards and even whole kitchens. As well, the store has items such as light fixtures, paint, shelving, desks and other decorative items that will add interesting touches to change the appearance inside or outside your home. The ReStore is definitely the place to shop for those special “treasures” – we have many items that you will not find anywhere else!

By shopping at the ReStore, you will not only get a great bargain (with the added bonus of no tax), but you will also be helping Habitat for Humanity South Georgian Bay to continue providing simple, adequate and affordable housing to low income families. Habitat for Humanity gives a “hand up” by forming partnerships with community leaders, builders, suppliers, volunteers and Family Partners, bringing them all together to build affordable housing.

The ReStore also accepts donations of new and used household and building materials, and then resells them to the general public. In terms of donations, we accept most of the items you would generally remove from your home during a renovation. We also accept working appliances, shelves, lamps – basically anything in working condition that we can then re-sell.
As well, we accept scrap metal and electronics (old T.V’s, computers, radios, phones) for recycling. The money raised from the sale of this recycling also assists Habitat for Humanity South Georgian Bay to build affordable homes for families in our area.
