Collingwood Parkinson SuperWalk
TORONTO, ON, July 28, 2015 – Parkinson Society Central & Northern Ontario will be holding its 25th annual SuperWalk to raise money for those affected by Parkinson’s. Walks will be held at 33 locations throughout the central and northern Ontario region on September 12 and 13. Everyone is welcome to join the walk as an individual, a team or you can even lend your support as a virtual walker. The Parkinson SuperWalk has raised over $31 million in the last 25 years for support services, advocacy, education and research for over 100,000 Canadians affected by Parkinson’s.
“For the last 25 years, Parkinson SuperWalk has been our largest fundraising and awareness event. This event gives people the opportunity, Canada-wide, to unite and show their support for our mission,” said Debbie Davis, CEO of Parkinson Society Central & Northern Ontario. “Last year we raised over $1 million in Central & Northern Ontario alone. With the help of our outstanding supporters, I have no doubt that we can match and exceed that number this year.”
