Here are some pictures of the Collingwood Yacht Club Women's team competing for in the Canadian Women's Keelboat Championships. They wrapped up three days of racing on October4th and our girls were 7th out of 20 boats competing. Good work to Sandy Thayer, Jocelyn Young, Sandy Thayer Michelle Magnon (MBSC) and Claire Sears. This was a great showing for a first attempt at the championship. Look out next year! The regatta was held in Kelowna BC. The girls raced Margarita no. 112 with a yellow and orange spinnaker if you are looking for them in the pictures. For full results see the website at: regattanetwork. co.../…/…/10118/WKNCFINALResults

For more information call me on my cell at 705-795-6902. I (Douglas Young of the CYC) am the organizer, coach and team dad! You can also check out the Georgian Bay Regatta website for racing information for around Georgian Bay and Lake Simcoe.

Thanks, Doug
